As a Mancunian singer-songwriter with an exceptionally unique voice and acoustic style, Odette intends to follow her heart and make music her life. Stylistically, her musical Influences stem from songstresses such as Kate Bush, Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse, where she has drawn on her love of soul and acoustic folk music to create something on the upcoming alternative music scene that can only be described as magical.
Her haunting sound has developed over years of dedication to her passion and with a classically-trained background, studying at one of the UKs most highly regarded music schools, The Purcell School for Young Musicians, she has a deeper musical understanding than the typical pop artist, something which is bound to stand her in good stead. Odette’s writing style is a blend of raw, often brutally honest lyrics with earthy, sensitive vocals and listening to her, it’s easy to hear that she is most content when writing and performing originals.
No stranger to the stage, Odette has been performing around the UK since the tender age of twelve, with venues such as Wembley Arena, Birmingham LG Arena and London O2 to her name, not forgetting her performances at two Royal Galas.
Gaining recognition for her talent worldwide from a young age, by the age of thirteen, Odette’s YouTube videos had remarkably been viewed in 186 countries and every state of America.
Having recently graduated from school, she is now set to fly the nest and make London her home for good as she spends every day writing, recording, rehearsing, and performing music in one of the world’s most happening music scenes.
